Another SEO Software we’ve tested out and revied is Auto Backlink Bomb. It is advertised as “Explode your sites potential and never worry about competition again – The Auto backlink Bomb generates thousands of backlinks freeing up your time and shooting your site infront of your competition making it burst with targeted traffic”… Maybe, for someone with lots of nerves, will and energy.

Success Rate of Profile Forum Links

Ok, where can I start. The software itself is not bad, don’t get me wrong. The package includes expression engine, Mybbb, PhpFox, Elgg, PhpBB and SMF. Totally you have access to about 2.000 forums with success rate of about 80% (or even less with some forums) according to my experience.

Flaws of the SEO software

What I didn’t like with the software is the scope of manual work that it required in order to create backlinks. First you have to create an account with GMX, Aol, Hotmail or your own service, which is the least of a problem. After creating e-mail account you have to register with the forums (naturally). You have to insert usernames, passwords into the .txt file which will be read by the software to create accounts. Then you have to write and save another .txt file with your login information which will be used when connecting to the service. You insert bio (signature) which is not a problem and a logical procedure. Then you can tell the software how many profiles you want to create. That’s a great feature by the way. And after doing so you press the button to start creating the profiles.

What I didn’t like about the software…

I guess what I didn’t like about the software is pure lack of automatization some software out there provide. You have to open, write, save text files, rename them to use for your archive (at the end you have bunch of files and your folder looks kinda crowded). I guess I am used to the simple one step procedure where the software itself takes care of everything, not needing you to write into text files.

Anyway, the price of Auto Backlink Bomb is a one-time price, and the software costs only $57.97 (at the time of writing this review). Don’t know about you, but I’d look for a better solution. I am sure many of you would like ABB anyway, it just didn’t work for me.

Exploring the SEO services of Hits India. These services have become a great hit because of the need of the market. Every web developer needs services to boost the traffic to the highest level. HitsIndia says it provides such services. And of course one needs to choose the right company to do business with because there’s so many companies offering services it’s just crazy.

Well, let me tell you a short story. About 3 months ago this company called “hits india” contacted me to do business with them. They wanted to optimize my web site and thus boost the traffic as a result build ravenue to my page. I was all excited and glad to hear someone wanted to do this for me because even though I was in the business for some time I though I didn’t have enough know-how to do it. Sure, I will pay you $99 for the trial month for you to show me you can you do the job. And then after the trial period you can convince me you’re able to put my page close to page 1 in Google. Let’s face it, every smart web-marketer wants his/her page on Google no. 1 page because that’s where “free” money is, right? Ok, the first month passes by, I am still waiting for some results. I do get weekly reports in excel from the company showing what they did with optimizing my page according to the keywords we agreed we’d work on… There is slight improvement after a couple of weeks. Then my page with the keywords vanishes from the face of the virtual world. Ok, let’s give it a week or so to surface again. Nothing happens. Hits india calls me to explain that everything is fine and that the results will be back in no time, “… just send me $200 for another month of service”… Sure, I trusted this was another of Google stunt. Weeks pass by, no results. Then I said, enough it enough, I guess these guys have no idea what SEO really means. I browse the web, gather information, get more into the SEO business even though I already had some experience with it but on a “lower” level in terms of keyword competitiveness.

I guess I was fooled and learned a great lesson. In my opition, DO NOT TRUST HitsIndia…. Let them do a 3 month FREE of charge campaign for your to show you they can do the job because otherwise you will waste your money. You will not get it back! Be smart!

Getting to number 1 position on Google is a dream of every web marketer. Rank Builder 2.0 is promising you to help you achieve this “dream”. But does it really deliver what it promises? And is it worth it’s price of $77/month?

Is Rank Builder 2.0 worth it’s money?

Let me first introduce you with the whole package of Rank Builder 2.0. When you buy it you get:
- Social Bookmark submitter
- Video Submitter
- Article Submitter
- LinkWheel Builder
- Press Release Submitter and
- Profile Link Builder.

These are all individual software that get created once you install the package. The whole deal is more or less the same as the Magic Submitter. I don’t think introducing individual software needs any more explanation as their names tell you what’s going on. Since I’ve been using Magic Submitter for Social, Video and Article submission I haven’t used Rank Builder 2.0 for these services too much. I’ve just tested it and find it a bit more complicated then Magic Submitter. Does it do better job then MS? I doubt.

Profile Link Builder

This piece of software is really simple and not too hard to manage. It, as the name says it all, helps you create tons of profile links in forumus. The database contains some 1,200 forums.

Experience with the software

Even though it’s simple to use, I found it useless to certain measure. I’ve noticed that I cannot make 2 campaigns in a row. Meaning, I cannot create 100 profile links for Project A and then start another 100 profile creation for Project B. Usually everything works ok for Project A but when I start Project B it will create only a few links and the rest of them are useless. I found out I have to reboot my computer in order to start another campaign in a more successful manner. Saying this, I see more value in eg. Auto Backlink Bomb which is another link building software with a one-time price of $58 and you’re set. (I am still testing this software so I cannot comment too much about it).

Final Score of the Product

I am glad I tested RB 2.0 but I don’t think I will stick with it and be paying $77/month since there are better products on the market (in my opinion). One of them surely is Magic Submitter which is $10 cheaper and more practical and functional then RB 2.0. More about MS a bit later.

So, my final judgement: test it and see. I wouldn’t stick with it honestly.

So, you’re thinking about buying Backlink Loophole software to boost your SERPs and increase your traffic with Google? Essentialy nice software, can’t argue with that. It’s also really cheap. I paid only $9 for it and was far from being the first ones to buy it. But, in essence, is it worth it?

Backlink Loophole Real Review

Let’s first get to the bottom of what the software (should) deliver. It is advertised it will boost your page rank and thus traffic by getting you the backlinks from .edu and .gov sites. Yes, this would most likely be so, I completely agree. I’ve heard links from those domains do boost your SERPs and as a result give you more traffic.

However…

Let’s look at the software itself. You install it and run it, insert your “keyword”. The keyword is essential because it is supposed to scrap the sites relevant to your own content/page, right? No science fiction there. Well, the software does bring back some sites, many of them if I am completely honest with you. However, these sites, I’ve noticed, are mainly squidoo, not relevant to your “keyword” even though you “told” the software to bring back sites related to yours. I’ve also noticed some porn sites which I don’t think you want to mess with in terms of “solid” and “reliable”, “high-quality” backlinks, right?

I’ve also noticed that when you try to retrieve .edu, .gov sites alone for a couple of times, it will stop working. What I mean by that is that if you try to retrieve these domains a couple of times in a row, the software will sort of stop working and get you 0 results. So, is this software useful? I mean, I bought it for the .edu, .gov purpose alone. So I guess it does not deliver what I was hoping for.

Furthermore…

I’ve done some research on the net regarding retrieving such potential sites myself with ease. Well, I came to this line:

Insert into Google Seearch: site:.edu inurl:blog “keyword″

Or: site:.edu inurl:blog “comment” -”you must be logged in” -”posting closed” -”comment closed” “keyword”

Or: site:.edu inurl:blog “post a comment” -”comments closed” -”you must be logged in” “keyword”

This should get the job done.

So, is $9 worth the software? Not in my opinion because I can buy a domain with this money and “open” an additional potential money-making channel!

Also, I am trying to get my money back from the developer and don’t get any reply… Hmmmmm……

Google Panda – New Trends in Searching the Web

So what really happened? Well, Google decided to bring a better experience for the end-user and provide more accurate and better results to the people surfing and searching the web. Nobody (but them) knows the exact thing they did with their algorithm but it surely did influence many, many web marketers and I don’t think they were ready for such a change. The change that “the world” knows is that they eliminated “farm sites”. Basically the farm sites are pages that are usually a duplicate of an existing web page and host various topics (Yahoo Answers should be most affected, even though I don’t see any negative change). So, if you had a page like that you should have been affected.

Google Dropped My Page – I Lost 60% – 90% of Traffic Over Night

Well, I didn’t and I still got banned in terms of my traffic being down about 60%-90% which of course is major shift in my revenue. I tried several methods to bring my traffic up, but so far no success. I followed other peoples instructions and suggestions but so far nothing worked. I had relatively unique and useful content, but this seamed not to work as Google says they hate Duplicate content (my words, not theirs!). So, to me it seams they are playing a game… To be honest with you, I do not have a Facebook, Twitter or YouTube type of site in terms of being innovative, new and “alone” on the market. I do niche marketing and I’ve found a keyword I though it was great, prosperous. The problem was these sites of mine in this niche marked worked well. And as soon as it worked really, really well, Google dropped me overnight. It looked like they don’t want to give me a break to make an honest buck… Sounds like your story????

What To Do?

What I guess works the best is to clean up your site. Get rid of duplicate content (even though some people believe there is nothing like “duplicate” content and it wouldn’t hurt you). Start with on-site and off-site SEO. Get yourself some backlinks from credible sites… If you’re in a high competative market this is even more important. If not, a bit less, but necessary in any case.

I wish you good luck and hope you make it.

User Bounces in the Post-Panda World

Forget for a moment everything you think you know about Google and how they rank content. Put yourself in the role of a person who is tasked with ranking results. One result gets clicked often, but most of the time the user only stays on the page for a few seconds (if that), returns to the results page, and clicks on another result.

Meanwhile, another result on the same page gets clicked on a lot too, but when users click on that one, they stay on the page longer, and don’t even return to the results page to find another result to click on. Nor do they refine their query. Which page is most likely the one that has the better content for that particular search?

Should bounce rate be a ranking signal?

Well, being a human, you have the luxury of looking at both pages and making that call. Now, pretend you’re not a human. You’re a computer algorithm tasked with ranking the world’s information for the majority of searchers. While you have over 200 signals that can help you determine which one should rank higher, wouldn’t this be one that could help?

This is not exactly bounce rate, but it’s related. In this case, it is the bounce in the direction of back to the SERP, and while there has been a lot of discussion and argument about whether Google uses actual bounce rate as a signal, it seems pretty likely that they are looking at this specific element of it.

SearchMetrics, after releasing data about the Panda winners and losers in the UK, said, “It seems that all the loser sites are sites with a high bounce rate and a less time on site ratio. Price comparison sites are nothing more than a search engine for products. If you click on a product you ‘bounce’ to the merchant. So if you come from Google to ciao.co.uk listing page, than you click on an interesting product with a good price and you leave the page. On Voucher sites it is the same. And on content farms like ehow you read the article and mostly bounce back to Google or you click Adsense.”

“And on the winners are more trusted sources where users browse and look for more information,” the firm added. “Where the time on site is high and the page impressions per visit are also high. Google’s ambition is to give the user the best search experience. That’s why they prefer pages with high trust, good content and sites that showed in the past that users liked them.”

WebmasterWorld Founder Brett Tabke wrote in a recent forum post, discussing what he calls the “Panda metric”, that “Highly successful, high referral, low bounce, quality, and historical pages have seen a solid boost with panda.”

In a recent video from Google’s Matt Cutts, on ranking in 2011, he talks about increasing site speed, and how this can keep users on your site longer (IE: not bouncing), you can increase your ROI. Speed is a ranking signal. We know that. Speed can reduce bounce rate. Even if Google doesn’t use bounce rate directly, there is a strong relationship here.
